My holiday nails match one of the lime green feather's on my tree..and yes..I did this myself...and I am going to show you how..Most of you that know me, know that I am not only the queen of clean eating.... you also know I am the queen of yard sales, thrift stores, reusing, recycling and bargains!
So..I am going to post some things on how to look good, stylish and healthy..but do it all yourself.
I get a lot of nail polishes on clearance and at yard sales.  I have had a lot of people ask me how I do that to my nails all the time...so here it is girls :D

...but wait..they now have a cheaper off versions on amazon and they are soooooo cool.
Here is one I just got and ordered off amazon..it has 25 plates and more designs than you can imagine!! You can also add the double ended stamper and scraper for $2.50!

The deal is..you can use about any nail polish (the thicker the better) swipe it on the design on the plate, scrape off excess polish, press stamp over it in a rolling motion, roll on to your nail!  Looks like professionally done nails!! I love it and I change it up all the time.  There are lots of good blogs and design ideas out there. I google nail art stamp ideas all the time.  Here is how I did my holiday nails...

My colors

This is the plate..I'm swiping the french manicure plate with red

Clean off excess polish with the little scraper tool

Press stamper on in a rolling motion

I did this on low on my nail because it's part of my design

See how messy this looks..who cares..use a q-tip dipped in remover and clean it all up in the end

Next I am going to do white on the tips and overlap the colors..this stuff is thin when you use the plates
so it dries immediately...sometimes on the plate if you aren't quick enough getting it on the stamper

So here is my hand with the white all done..you may have to actually polish a little more white on the tips

I wanted the white to look like snow so I put my favorite glitter polish on it

Next I stamped the lime green floral fine over the middle of the white and red

I like lots of sparkle so I added some glitter dots around the vine

Finished off with a good top coat and All done!  It took about 15 minutes total and it was so inexpensive!
