Homemade Graham Crackers

I made Chad a peanut butter kefir pie..I will post the recipe.  It called for homemade graham crackers. These were so simple..no processed foods or chemicals in these and the boys ate what was left over that I didn't use.  Yummy..you could even add some chocolate and make many variations.
This recipe was made with spelt flour..got it at Ingles.  Spelt flour has a somewhat nuttier and slightly sweeter flavor than whole-wheat flour. Spelt contains more protein than wheat, and contains gluten, so spelt is not suitable for a gluten-free diet.  You can also just use a whole wheat flour here.

Sprouted Graham Crackers 2 cups sprouted spelt or wheat flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp baking powder
4 tbsp honey
5 tbsp butter melted
2 to 4 tbsp water Add to make a ball that is not sticking to touch

Mix all dry ingredients. Add honey, butter, and water until ball is formed. Roll out onto a butter or parchment lined baking sheet using a rolling pin. With a knife score into 16 crackers prick with a fork. Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes. Use the longer time for crisper graham crackers.
